Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen is my name and I'm a Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My incredible partner JP and my wonderful Dad Henry are also part of our clan. I am most well-known through my Instagram account @annephung. In this blog, I will share my story-the highs, the lows, and everything in between. My parents took my family to America in the year 1990 when I was just a year old. It wouldn't be possible to share my story with you today if my parents didn't work to the max and sacrifice. Given the chance to live a better life I was determined to try my best to please them and was focused on my success. My goals were set: I would attend university, find a job in a corporation, marry and buy an apartment. While I believed this was the standard for the ideal life, reality had other strategies. In 2013 I found myself looking forward to going back to work. job the money and status was not bringing me joyIt was like I was wasting my time and energy in exchange for a salary even though I knew I was destined for something more. I possessed a love of fitness and being social and helping others while I walked my new career path. I found my calling in personal training. The business I started in the year 2014. My company is celebrating its seventh birthday this year. In the field of coaching there is a lack of Asian women. My goal is to be a change maker within the field to offer quality coaching to empower people to live a more healthy and happier person by establishing the most sustainable life that meets their individual goals and needs. Also, I strive to inspire people to pursue their goals and achieve whatever they would like to in life. As my professional career took flight and I was advancing, my mom passed away. This loss is the most devastating of them everything. The eight years she fought fight with Scleroderma. She is now resting in Heaven and I will remain close to her in my heart. Life's lessons can be hidden from us yet they can prove extremely valuable. My loss has impacted my life in a variety of ways. I truly believe that her death gave me the opportunity to begin an entirely new chapter. Her passing in the year of Tet/Lunar New Year Day was an opportunity for her to begin a new life. It was a second chance for me to lead a fulfilled life. The 30's are the only that I truly feel like I am alive. In sharing the tale of my life, it is to ensure that other people will be able to understand my thoughts and feelings. In order to feel that they're not the only ones. Also, that there exists true love. Therapy is necessary and is not unusual. Also, wellness is your greatest wealth. My hope is to live your every moment to the fullest and have a final resting place is not a regret, since that's the only thing you can count on during this lifetime.
