Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as fourteen years old. Along with BJJ as well, she was also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. When she was 18 years old, Ladd had her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd kept building on her win at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She finished all of her opponents within the first round. Then she returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen to defeat her in an unanimous decision. This put the mark of a loss on Aspen's records as an amateur. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent match in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in 2015 when she signed as a player with Invicta FC. Invicta eleven saw Aspen take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta 16, she was able to rise from Bantamweight to her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability took down McGill in the first round, and she managed to finish her in the third round with a TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) as an "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd was unable to put on the weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy with a TKO. In her last fight for this promotion, Ladd fought Sijara Eubanks via an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round at the end of the second. Ladd continued to dominate and racked up an amazing victory in her subsequent bout against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd finished Evinger in the opening round. She also received her a night's performance bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent for an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her first major match. Ladd was the winner of the night's fight bonus, after both fighters had an intense combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya lost in the 3rd round at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. In her most recent fight with the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. She was beaten by a unanimous decision.
